Broilers are fed in two types of diets, known as phase feeding. With this in mind, it is pertinent that we explain to you the two methods. To start with we have BROILER STARTER MASH/CRUMBS. Imperatively, this feed is carefully formulated to provide the required nutrient for rapid growth. It contains high level of protein and energy level and fully complemented with high quality amino acids and micro-nutrients required for muscle formation and skeleton framework. Feeding is done from day old to 18 days. We have 3 days period which is mostly the transition period. In this period it is very important that you avoid a sudden change of diet as this may affect the chickens. What you can do is mix the two feeds together. Moreover, it will be very important that you give your chicken vitamins The second phase is to feed BROILER FINISHER MASH/PELLETS. It is fed from day 21 to market weight. The feed is formulated to provide correct balance of energy and protein for rapid growth at the final phase and ensure even fat and muscle distribution in the body.
